Healthy Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Hosted by Southside Partnership and funded by the Department of Health, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and the Department of Rural and Community Development. 

Healthy Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown implements the national initiative of Healthy Ireland at a local level in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. Healthy Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown aims to support the health and well-being of the people of DLR through programmes aimed at the whole of society across the lifespan. 

Healthy DLR is supported by DLR Local Community Development Committee, DLR Children and Young Peoples Services Committee, Southside Partnership, the Health Service Executive, DLR Sports Partnership, and University College of Dublin among others. 

Some examples of the programmes supported by Healthy Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown include:  Chair Gym Exercise Classes for Older Adults, Health and Well-being Courses, Men’s Shed Exercise Programme and Well Now Programme.
