Community Development Course

Are you working in the community and would like to upskill or are you interested in working in the community (DLR area)? Southside Partnership DLR and Rosemount Family Resource Centre are collaborating to offer an 8-week course on Community Development. The course will run from Sept 20th 2018 until November 15th 2018 on Thursday mornings from 9.30am--1pm at Rosemount Family Resource Centre in Dundrum.

Machine Sewing for Beginners course

Southside Partnership will be starting a new Machine Sewing for Beginners course.

This is a new exciting class which will use recycled materials.

You will be amazed what you can do with your old clothes, jeans, T-shirts and pretty much any type of fabric remains!

 The sewing classes are weekly on a drop-in basis until the 26th June. 

 

START DATE: Tuesday 1st May 2018

TIME:  9.30am – 12.30pm

LOCATION: Furry Hill Community Centre, Furry Hill, Sandyford Road, Sandyford, Dublin 16

 

There is a €3 contribution for each-drop in class to cover costs.

Free One-to-One Computer / Smartphone / Tablet Tuition

The Southside Partnership in collaboration with the TÚS IT Computer Training Team is running Free One-to-One Computer / Smartphone / Tablet Tuition.

Sessions are tailored to suit your needs. We can help you with virtually anything related to computers, internet, emails, smartphones, apps, tablets, iPhones and iPads. Just contact us for a quick chat!

Everyone is welcome!

Topics can include:

  • ·         Learning to use a computer, smartphone or tablet

    ·         Using the internet and emails

    ·         Managing files and folders

    ·         Working with photos on laptop, phone or tablet

    ·         Using Facebook, Twitter, Skype, You Tube 

    ·         Using apps on phone and tablets

    ·         Writing letters, documents and spreadsheets

    ·         Internet security, use of antivirus

    ·         Computer slow or not working

    ·         Phone or Tablet not working properly
