FREE Introduction to GDPR workshop 11th June 2018

Southside Partnership Training Network will be running a FREE Introduction to GDPR workshop on June 11th 2018 from 9.30am-1pm at Mounttown Community Facility (SSP room).

This course will be open to local community groups in the DLR county which have a social inclusion focus and therefore fall within the remit of the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme.


The aim is that participants will leave the session with a good general understanding of GDPR, be able to assess how it is relevant to their organisation and know what steps they need to take to become compliant.

Content will include: 


  • * The 7 Data Management principles

    * Data Controller Obligations

    * Data Subjects Rights

Well Now - Health and Wellbeing Course

Healthy Ireland Dun Laoghaire Rathdown in conjunction with Southside Partnership, CYPSC, NALA, the Sports Partnership and many others will be running a 6-week 'Well Now - Health and Wellbeing Course'  starting on 31st May 2018.

It is a course aimed at improving all aspects of health and wellbeing including, social, mental and physical wellbeing.


This course is literacy-friendly and will include inputs from local health experts such as a nutritionist, pharmacist, the local sports partnership and more.


START DATE: 31st May 2018

Non Violence Resistance (NVR) Programme

Ballyogan FRC in conjunction with TUSLA are currently enrolling participants for a FREE 8 week NVR parenting programme. 

The NVR Programme is suitable for any parent/carer who feels controlled, intimidated, or threatened by their child/teenager. It is also for any parent/carer who feels that they have to adapt their own behaviour because of threats or use of abuse or violence from their child or teenager.

Community Development Course

Are you working in the community and would like to upskill or are you interested in working in the community (DLR area)? Southside Partnership DLR and Rosemount Family Resource Centre are collaborating to offer an 8-week course on Community Development. The course will run from Sept 20th 2018 until November 15th 2018 on Thursday mornings from 9.30am--1pm at Rosemount Family Resource Centre in Dundrum.
