Introduction to Motivational Interviewing – Day 1 of 2-Day Workshop

This course will be open to anyone working with a local community group or orgainsation in DLR which has a social inclusion focus or those who are interested in working in this field.

This is the 1st day of 2-Day Workshop.

When 6^th  June (Day 1) and 20th June (Day2)  2019, 10am – 5.00pm

Location: Blackrock Education Centre, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin

Motivational interviewing (MI) is an approach, drawing from client-centred theory, cognitive theory, systems theory, social psychology and persuasion.  As an approach it was developed to enable individuals to reach a decision to change and to commit to this change.
