Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys, TD, announced on 6th September one million euro in funding for social enterprises nationwide.
The Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme 2021 will provide funding for the purchase of equipment or the carrying out of repairs or refurbishments to enable social enterprises to improve their service delivery and is now open for applications.

The closing date is the 13th of October and is set to comply with the Departmental timeline for this new grants scheme. The upper limit for grants is €10,000.
