Southside Partnership in Ballybrack Project Centre is a hub of community life in the Ballybrack community. We work with local community groups and our partners and provide a range of community education and health and wellbeing programmes for older people and people with disabilities.
Our community development team champions local climate action, our centre is fully accessible with a large secondhand library, we have a sustainable mini forest garden, a water irrigation system and solar panels, we also support local community groups to engage in sustainable initiatives such as uniform swaps and food appeals.
We link with our local DDLRETB (Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education Training Board) and refer learners into accredited and non-accredited courses enhancing opportunities for second chance learning and pathways to employment.
Our drop-in services supports locals to fill in online and paper forms and receive much needed information on services, rights and entitlements and local activities.
We are funded through SICAP, SWAP and DLR Community Grants
