Home Services Community Development Care and Repair

Our staff provide a friendly and reliable helping hand with a variety of small, practical tasks that older people may find difficult to manage on their own. We focus on jobs that are safe, manageable, and can generally be completed within 1½ hours, ensuring we can help as many people as possible.

Typical tasks might include:

  • Garden tidy-ups such as clearing leaves, trimming small bushes, or planting seasonal flowers.
  • Home maintenance jobs like replacing light bulbs, fitting door chains, installing smoke alarms, or putting up shelves.
  • Assistance with light furniture such as moving chairs, tables, or other small items to another room.
  • Other practical support to make daily life easier and safer, helping older people maintain independence and comfort in their homes.
  • Our aim is to provide practical support with a personal touch, ensuring that every task is completed efficiently and with care, giving peace of mind and a little extra help where it’s needed most.
