Holly House Community Resource Centre

Holly House is a welcoming community resource centre in the heart of Loughlinstown, we support children, young people and families, local individuals and local community groups. Our aim is to provide a range of educational, social, cultural and health and wellbeing programmes and supports, creating opportunities for personal growth, and building a strong sense of connection within our community.

We offer drop-in services to assist with everyday needs such as filling out forms, printing, and referrals to local supports including Springboard, counselling services, MABS, and more. We work closely with the LBS (Loughlinstown, Ballybrack, Shankill) Mens Shed who support local men to promote positive mental health through arts and creative practice, our Holly House Womens Group supports local women to come tother and engage in community education and have the craic.

From early educational programmes and youth groups to women’s programmes and cultural activities, Holly House is a place where people can learn, share, and feel supported.

Family and Individual Support
Our drop-in services are designed to make life a little easier and provide support for families and individuals in the community.

Young Bugs Afterschool Programme
Our Young Bugs Afterschool Programme offers a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment for junior and senior infants.

Homework Club 1st – 3rd class and 4th– 6th class
Our Homework Club provides a calm, structured, and supportive space for primary school children to complete their homework.

Holly House Grinds Programme
Our Holly House Grinds Programme is designed to support Leaving Certificate students in reaching their full academic potential.

Young People Personal Development Groups
Our Young People Personal Development Groups provide a safe space for young people to explore topics that are important to them.

Afterschools Activities
We offer a range of afterschool activities and seasonal camps that are fun, creative, and engaging for children and young people.

Southside Partnership in Ballybrack Project Centre is a hub of community life in the Ballybrack community. We work with local community groups and our partners and provide a range of community education and health and wellbeing programmes for older people and people with disabilities.

Supported through Tús, CE and Age Action Ireland our free Care & Repair Service helps vulnerable older people in the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown area with essential pieces of work in their homes.
